Letter to my future friend

Dear friend,

This is Shashank from the past from the planet earth, hoping this finds you in best of your day.

Latest as on date, in June 2021, we are still fighting the hurdles and facing the tragic effects of the Corona virus. Even though, the first case of the virus was more than 1.5 years ago, the fight seems to be longer and tougher with changing nature of the virus.

Right now, from last few weeks, I am working hard for my 9th grade finals, because the next year’s board exams (10th grade) may not happen. We have a lot of syllabus in all subjects and there isn’t enough time to study. The online classes this year was not effective enough so I couldn’t learn properly. I am waking up very early in the morning to study because I sleep early in the night. I am not able to even step out of the house because of corona and lockdown situation. I am now spending most of my free time with my dog that I recently adopted. His name is Benji and we run all around the house as it runs behind me, chasing my feet. He plays fetch too.

That’s enough about me, I hope you are very kind and thoughtful to the future me. Let me promise that I will return the favor. Tell me more about how’s future and the world in the future, do you still wear masks in the future? Let me know.
